We all think of a good night’s sleep as a wonderful (free!) beauty treatment.

But turns out that’s not always the case.
The Bad News About Being a Side Sleeper
If you lie on your side, you could be sabotaging your beauty sleep!
Here’s why:
1 – Lying on your side means that you will crease up your decolletage all night long. Night after night, week after week, month after month … those creases become wrinkles. So to protect the tender skin of your neck and chest area, it is recommended that you avoid lying on your side to sleep.
2 – Have you ever noticed that any spots or pimples that develop, are all on the side of your face and neck that you lie on?
3 – If you are a side sleeper, it also means that one side of your face will wrinkle and sag more than the other. However all is not lost – silk pillowcases are said to help. Or, you could simply memorise which is your “best” side and present that for photos, etc!
Experts recommend lying on your back as the best position for your health and wellbeing (though probably not if you snore), as well as making the most of your beauty sleep.
